He exhibited in a number of the annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery, from 1946 to 1948, 1950 to 1952, 1954, and 1956.
Loewe exhibited with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in a number of their annual exhibitions from 1947 through to 1962 and in 1967.
Loewe was married to Luise Arndt. He died of cancer in Vancouver in 1967 at the age of 76. His occupation was noted as "teacher, art therapy, Pearson Hospital" from which he retired in August 1966 after 22 years.
