Willis had a solo exhibition of her work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1937. The same exhibition was held at the Normal School in Edmonton, Alberta, from September 25 to October 25, 1936.

She exhibited her work in the B.C. At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1945, and also in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1945 and 1947.

She won an award at the Second Annual BC at Work exhibition in 1945, sponsored by the Labour Arts Guild.

She was on a list titled "Leading Vancouver Artists," provided to the Labour Arts Guild on April 10, 1946 by the Vancouver Art Gallery to assist in the Guild's call for entries to the second annual B.C. At Work exhibition.

In 1946 Willis was in a three-person exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery with Harley Parker and Cliff Robinson. There were 46 works in the exhibition, but there is no exhibition list on record at the Gallery.

She exhibited her artwork with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts from 1946 to 1948.
