Charles Stegeman

BC Society of Artists

Charles Stegeman was born in Ede, Netherlands, and arrived in Vancouver in 1952.

He married artist Francoise Andre in Vancouver in 1952.

He exhibited artwork in the 1953 43rd Annual exhibition of the B.C. Society of Artists. He also showed work with the group from 1954 to 1958, and 1962.

Stegeman exhibited at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the BC Artists exhibitions from 1952 to 1957, and 1961.

Stegeman moved to Chicago in 1962.
