INTRODUCTION
Looking west from the seawall in Stanley Park during a perfect Vancouver sunset,
with golden light streaming over the mountains and bay, and a view from
starfish to stars. This print is a re-visit to the image, previously done as a
pen and ink drawing in 2002. However, the stippling of the drawing was impossible
to re-create in the print, so a different technique was used. The print was also
made 25% larger than the original drawing.
The edition consists of 50 prints on white BFK Rives 185 gsm paper, hand printed
by the artist with Speedball water soluble black block printing ink,
using an antique hand press. All prints are editioned, titled, signed and dated
by the artist in pencil, with artist's monogram in the plate lower right.
Prints from the edition of 50 are now available for $170.00 CDN
each unframed (not including taxes or shipping).
