Reginald Arthur Blunden

November 14 1899 - August 11 1953


Reginald Arthur Blunden was born in England. He came to Canada at the age of one or two, and moved to British Columbia around 1910, and to Vancouver around 1917. He married Doris Edith Maskell in Vancouver on February 1 1922. His occupation was noted on the marriage certificate as Chauffeur.

Blunden had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1940, showing a collection of lithographs. He also exhibited in the VAG BC Artists exhibitions.

He died at St. Paul's Hospital in 1953 at the age of 53. His death certificate noted that he had retired as a Commercial Artist in 1947 after 20 years employment in that profession.
