INTRODUCTION

Walking along the south shore of Savary Island, we came around a point and found a small bay with a number of exposed rocks - covered in seals and birds. A second later one of the seals spotted us, and they all dove into the water - a simple reminder of our impact on the wildlife in the area.

The edition consists of 30 prints on white BFK Rives 185 gsm paper, hand printed by the artist with Daniel Smith black block printing ink, using an antique hand press. All prints are editioned, titled, signed and dated by the artist in pencil, with artist's monogram in the plate lower right. The image shown here is hand tinted with india ink brushpen, with additional pen and ink work.

Prints from the edition of 30 are now available for $170.00 CDN each unframed (not including taxes or shipping). Hand tinted versions of the print vary in price depending on amount of work and materials used.
