Richard D.H. Wyndham was born in Vancouver in 1911.

He exhibited his work in the 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. He was living in Vancouver at the time.

He also showed work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1946, 1948, 1962, and January 1965.

He exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1964.

Wyndham died in Comox in 1991 at the age of 80, he was living on Hornby Island. His occupation was noted as "Instructor - Art."
