Paul Wong was born in Hong Kong in 1933 (also listed as 1935). He arrived in Canada in 1956. He exhibited in the annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1947, 1948, 1951, 1952, 1965, and 1968.

He exhibited with the B.C. Society of Artists from 1965 to 1967.

He had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1948.

He exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibitions from 1963 to 1970.

He founded the Bau-Xi Gallery.

"Born in Canton, China, went to school in Calgary, Alberta, and later finished high school education in Central Collegiate, Moose Jaw, Sask. Pursuing art study in New York won scholarship for several years in the Grand Central School of Art, also studied in the Art Student's League and Columbia University. Has had his work exhibited in New York and Toronto Galleries."
