Fanny B. Piggott (Pigott?)

dates

B.C. Society of Fine Arts
Vancouver Studio Club & School of Art

Fanny B. Piggott exhibited artwork in 1909 with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in their Second Exhibition, held at the Mercantile Building in Vancouver.

She also exhibited work with the Vancouver Studio Club in November 1909.

It is quite possible that this is the same woman as Miss De Kinsy Pigott, exhibiting the same year with the Studio Club. Different spellings in the exhibition catalogues may be typographical errors. A Fanny Beatrice D. Pigott died in Vancouver on February 2 1912 at the age of 47, according to B.C. Vital Statistics on-line. This would produce a possible combined name of Miss Fanny Beatrice De Kinsy Pigott.
