Elizabeth Mihailovsky was born in Russia. She arrived in Canada c1928, and moved to Vancouver in the mid-1940s. She exhibited in the 1943, 1944, and 1945 annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. In 1943 the artist was living in Vancouver.

She exhibited work in the 1946 and 1949 Stanley Park in Pictures exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

She died of cancer in Vancouver in 1971 at the age of 77. She was single, living with her friend Eugenie Young in an apartment at 1915 Beach Avenue in Vancouver.
