Ruby M. Young exhibited work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1934, 1936, 1942, and 1943. She was living in Nelson in 1942, and in Williams Lake in 1943.

She had work in the 1944 and 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
