Walter Barrington (Barry) Piers

Walter Barrington Piers was born in London, England. He came to Canada c1911, to B.C. a year later, and moved to Haney c1931. In 1913 he was living in Vernon, working as a bank clerk, when he married Mary Cecilia Onn on January 13.

He exhibited four photographs at the Canadian National Exhibition in 1937, 1938, and 1939. He was noted in the catalogue as living in Haney.

Piers died in Haney in 1964 at the age of 74. His occupation was noted as "Retired Bank Manager - Bank of Montreal."
