Mrs. Ethel May Mariacher (nee Hodson)

c1886 -

Vancouver Sketch Club

Mrs. Mariacher was born in Liverpool, England. She married Alphonso Mariacher, a 22-year old clerk from Dunedin, New Zealand, in Vancouver on May 20, 1909. She was a 23-year old spinster.

She exhibited artwork in Vancouver in 1921 and 1922 with the Vancouver Sketch Club.

She later divorced, and married Robert McKay, a 35-year old divorced clerk, in Vancouver on July 4, 1930. The ceremony was conducted by Andrew Roddan (q.v.), a well-known Vancouver clergyman.
