Eric Freifeld

March 13 1919 - 1984

Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (Associate 1963)

Eric Freifeld was born in Saratov, Russia in 1919.

He showed his work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1943 and 1945. He was living in Vancouver.

In 1979 he was living in Toronto. Refer to Macdonald etc. Duval wrote a limited edition book about Freifeld, in addition to including him in other books such as High Realism in Canada (see below).
