John Fernley Dick

J. Fernley Dick was born in Londonderry, Ireland. He came to Canada c1919 and moved to Victoria, where he worked as a civil servant.

He exhibited work in the 1940 1st Annual Vancouver International Salon of Pictorial Photography exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in Victoria.

Dick died in Victoria in 1959 at the age of 60, he had retired in 1959. He was survived by his wife Geraldine Payne. They were living on Macdonald Road in Saanich.
