Walter Felix Sorge

Walter Sorge was born in Forestburg, Alberta, in 1931. He graduated from John Oliver High School, Vancouver, in 1950. He graduated from Pasadena City College in 1952, UCLA (BA) 1954, and UCLA (MA) in 1955.

He had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1955.

He exhibited artwork with the B.C. Society of Artists in 1958 and 1959.

He moved to Dawson Creek in 1956, and worked as an editorial cartoonist there before moving to New York in 1959.

He died in Louisville, Kentucky.
