He exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1942 and 1943 B.C. Artists exhibitions. The artist was living on Hardy Island.
Roberts died in 1979 at the age of 94. His employment was noted as "general merchant - general store." He was living on Nelson Island at Cape Cockburn when he died at the Sechelt Hospital. Nelson Island is just across a small passage from Hardy Island near Jervis Inlet.
