Artist Pictures Invasion of City

Representing the Point Grey district under imaginary aerial attacks and occupation by enemy forces, a series of sketches by Jack Shadbolt, well-known Vancouver artist, will be on display by the Vancouver Auxiliary Police of District 6A, West Point Grey, at the Masonic Hall, 4426 West Tenth, during the afternoons and evenings Thursday and Friday.
Proceeds from admission charges of 25 cents for adults and 10 cents for children will go to purchase of equipment for the Auxiliary Police.
The purpose of the sketches is to arouse public awareness of the wretchedness caused by enemy invasion, and to promote active participation in taking precautions against one.
