Millicent E. Fox

dates

groups

Millicent E. Fox exhibited sculptural work with the Island Arts and Crafts Society in 1938.

She exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1938 and 1941 B.C. Artists exhibitions. She was listed as living in Vancouver in the 1941 exhibition catalogue.

B.C. Vital Statistics on-line provides inconclusive information about the artist: Grace Millicent Smith married Henry Samuel Fox in Vernon on February 15, 1917, and Grace Millicent Fox died in Vancouver on February 3 1964 at the age of 75. It is possible this was the artist, but if so the Island Arts and Crafts and B.C. Artists exhibition records are incorrect as to the middle initial of the artist's name, and as to the order of the given names.
