He was Vice-President of the Arts & Crafts Society in 1900, and also exhibited his work in the group's First Annual Exhibition.
In 1905 he was a partner in Dalton & Eveleigh Architects. He was the sixth architect registered with the AIBC after it was founded in 1914. He was President of the Institute in 1923-24.
He died in Vancouver in 1947.
