Sydney Morgan Eveleigh

S.M. Eveleigh was born in Bedford, England in 1869 (or 1870). He arrived in Vancouver in May 1888. He married Florence Mary Southcott in Vancouver on February 21, 1900.

He was Vice-President of the Arts & Crafts Society in 1900, and also exhibited his work in the group's First Annual Exhibition.

In 1905 he was a partner in Dalton & Eveleigh Architects. He was the sixth architect registered with the AIBC after it was founded in 1914. He was President of the Institute in 1923-24.


1927 memberships

He died in Vancouver in 1947.
