Dora B.K. Donogh was born in India. She married John Purser in Victoria on April 14 1934. Her occupation was noted as artist on the marriage certificate.

She exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1933 Vancouver Island Exhibition.

The artist was associated with the Deco Art Studio in Victoria in the 1920s, along with Margaret Kitto and Lillian Sweeney (see DIR).
