Edith Rose Colpman (Mrs.)

Rose Colpman was born in Tsien Tsien, China in 1898. She had work in the Federation of Canadian Artists Third Traveling Exhibition in 1947.

Her maiden name was Hinton, she married William Leslie Colpman at Victoria on August 27, 1925. She died in Port Alberni in 1959 at the age of 60.

Some of her artwork is in the collection of the B.C. Archives in Victoria, including a painting of Mt. Klitsa, Sproat Lake V.I.
