Miss Lenore Black was born in Brandon, Manitoba. She moved to Victoria about 1899.

She exhibited artwork in the Second Exhibition of the Island Arts & Crafts Society in 1911.

She married Thomas Eric Jones in Victoria in 1925. Her occupation was noted as music teacher.

She died in Victoria in 1973 at the age of 83, her occupation was noted as "housewife - at home."
