| This is a digital scan of an original 1959 exhibition catalogue, published by the National Gallery of Canada. From the Foreword: "The American Federation of Arts last year asked the National Gallery of Canada to arrange several Canadian exhibitions which could be circulated throughout the United States in consecutive order over a period of years beginning in 1959. The first of these to be prepared is this one: Canadian Water Colours and Graphics Today." B.C. artists in the exhibition were Maxwell Bates, Alistair Bell, Bruno Bobak, Donald Jarvis, Joseph Plaskett, and Jack Shadbolt. |
