Maud Sherman poster from first year at art school

The June 1926 issue of The Paint Box included a watercolour by Maud Sherman of a number of local flowering plants. Although the school annual was printed in black and white, the original painting is in full colour. It was donated to me by Mrs. Joan Dendys, who had acquired it directly from June Sherman, Maud's niece. The painting is 24" high by 18" wide on poster paper. It is signed along the top edge "M. Sherman" and has a note in pencil below the trillium "equilateral triangle when used in design."
