"California 1925"
This watercolour by Maud Sherman was
found in an antique store on Hastings Street. It is dated 1925,
and was painted on location at Mission Cliff Gardens, San Diego,
California, on a trip that she made there in the spring of 1925,
a few months before she started art school.
