Woodward's framing label

This Woodward's Department Store framing label is barely hanging on to the shredded backing paper on a limited edition colour print by Orville Fisher dated 1930 (courtesy private collection). The label was printed by Dennison USA. It is interesting that the label has order number 9650 hand-written on it, which may help benchmark other artworks framed with Woodward's labels. Although they were probably once quite common in Vancouver, I had not seen a single one prior to this. I didn't measure it, but height was about 2.5 inches, width about 1.75 inches. The text height for "Dennison" was a touch under 1/16 of an inch (or so).
