Welcome to the B.C. Art Salon home page! This exciting event was an opportunity to view a large range of British Columbia art in a comfortable, heritage setting. In the manner of early Vancouver salons, Le Gavroche Restaurant opened their doors for you to come in from the rain, enjoy the art, relax around the fireplace with a glass of wine, chat with fellow art lovers, nibble some hors d'oeuvres, and lounge at the bar while viewing and deciding on your favorite works of art.

The Salon featured a collection of recent work by Gary Sim, and a wide-ranging selection of artwork by a number of historic B.C. artists. All lots were available for immediate purchase prior to the auction, and the remaining lot then put up for live auction. A total of 62 out of 120 artworks were sold.

Thank you very much to all the bidders, and to those whose expressed an interest in the idea, supported the idea, and helped make it a reality.
